When a young girl fights with her friend, she somehow makes her friend fall unconscious, just by pointing at her. An evil forest has shadows and hints of dark beasts dwelling there. Unnatural purple fire destroys a town. The beginning of magic in the world causes mayhem and destruction and wreaks havoc with four teens’ lives. Another YA fantasy novel.
